Watcombe Head - The Swimmer

This painting was created in the studio after sketching and obtaining photgraphic references on a beautiful sunny morning on the beach. The sky was a intense clear blue and the swimmer was departing just as I sketched. This beach has only recently re-opened to the public following repairs caused by errosion.
