Oil Painting FAQ's

1. Are your paintings original or prints?

All of the paintings on my website are 100% original, one-of-a-kind oil paintings. I also offer limited-edition, fine art prints of select pieces, and these are clearly marked on their respective pages. Every artwork, whether original or print, is created with care and attention to detail.

2. How do you price your paintings?

Each painting is priced based on its size, complexity, and the time I invest in bringing it to life. I strive to offer fair pricing that reflects not only the quality of the materials I use but also the unique, one-of-a-kind nature of each piece.

3. What materials do you use for your oil paintings?
I use professional-grade oil paints on archival-quality canvas or wood panels, ensuring the vibrancy and longevity of each piece. Whenever possible, I choose sustainable, non-toxic materials from trusted suppliers, so you can enjoy your artwork knowing it's created with care for both quality and the environment.

4. Is the color in the image accurate to the actual painting?

I do my best to ensure the colors you see online closely match the real artwork. However, slight variations may occur due to different screen settings. If you’d like additional photos or details, I’m happy to provide them—just reach out!

5. What is your return/exchange policy?
Your satisfaction is my priority! If for any reason you’re not happy with your painting, you can return it within 14 days of delivery for a full refund or exchange, as long as it's in its original condition. Please check the returns page for specific details on prints and originals.

6. How do I care for an oil painting?

To keep your oil painting looking its best, avoid placing it in direct sunlight or areas with extreme temperatures and humidity. You can gently dust the surface with a soft, dry cloth when needed. It’s best to avoid water or cleaning products on the painting surface.

7. Do you offer custom commissions?
Absolutely! I love creating custom oil paintings that reflect your vision, whether it's based on your ideas, photos, or concepts. You can learn more about the process on my commissions page or feel free to contact me to discuss your ideas.

8. Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship worldwide! Shipping costs and delivery times vary depending on your location and order. For specific quotes or any questions, feel free to reach out, and I’ll provide all the details you need.

9. How are your paintings packaged for shipping?
I take great care to ensure your painting arrives safely. Each piece is carefully wrapped in protective materials and shipped in sturdy containers. I also include shipping insurance for added peace of mind.

10. Can I see the painting in person before purchasing?
If you’re local or visiting my area, I’d love to arrange a private studio viewing for you. Just get in touch, and we can set up an appointment. For original artworks, I can also create a digital mock-up to help you visualize the painting in your space—just send me a quality photo, and we’ll work from there.

11. What happens if my painting is damaged during shipping?
I take every precaution to ensure safe delivery, but in the rare event that your painting arrives damaged, please contact me right away with photos of both the artwork and the packaging. I’ll work with you to either repair or replace the piece, or issue a refund if necessary.

12. Do you offer framing services?
Yes! I offer stretching and custom framing for an additional fee. Let me know if you’re interested in framing, and we can discuss your options when you place your order.

13. Can I request changes to a painting I like?
While I can’t alter an existing painting once it’s completed, I’d be happy to create a custom piece inspired by the artwork you like. We can work together to create something perfect for you!

14. How long does it take to receive a commissioned painting?
Commissions typically take between 4 to 12 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the piece. Since oil paints require time to dry, there may be an additional drying period. I’ll keep you updated throughout the process and provide an estimated delivery date before we begin.

15. Can I pay for my painting in installments?
Yes, I offer flexible payment plans for both original works and commissions. You can choose the option that best suits your budget. Feel free to contact me to set up a plan, or select PayPal at checkout for standard "pay later" options.

16. What payment methods do you accept?
I accept major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers. For commissioned works, I require a deposit upfront, with the remaining balance due upon completion of the artwork.

17. Are your paintings signed?
Yes, all of my original oil paintings are signed, either on the front or back. Each piece also comes with a certificate of authenticity and a bill of sale.

18. Do you have a gallery or shop where I can view your work?
I currently work out of my studio, where I offer private viewings by appointment. My work is also featured in select galleries and exhibitions throughout the year, which I announce on my website and social media.

19. Can I gift a painting? Do you offer gift wrapping or gift cards?
